A lovely family of 4 (soon to be 6) living on the outskirts of Canterbury are looking for a highly reliable after-school Nanny. This professional couple have 2 young daughters aged 6 and 8, and are awaiting the arrival of their twin boys early September 2020. The family also have 2 miniature dachshunds.

They are ideally looking for someone to start August time, so that the right Nanny can build a relationship with the girls and the family before their new arrivals are born. During the first 6 weeks after the twins have arrived there will be an additional live-in Maternity Nurse, so it is key that you are willing to work as a team.

The girls attend a local school in Canterbury, around 15 to 20 minute drive away from the family home. It is imperative that you are a confident driver, in both automatic and manual vehicles, as you will be required to do the afternoon school pick up.

The girls partake in various after school clubs, so are looking for someone who is proactive, energetic, and fun to keep their two very active girls engaged and interested. The couple’s youngest daughter suffers from ADHD, so would be a bonus if you have had prior experience with this, although not essential for the role. You should be willing to roll your sleeves up, good with multiple children, forward thinking, and independent.

A typical working day will start around 2.00pm-3.00pm and finish at 8.00pm (Monday – Thursday). The role will include the following duties:

- Afternoon school pick up
- Helping with homework
- Playing stimulating games
- Reading with them
- Meal prep/dinner for the girls
- Bath time
- Night routine
- Housekeeping of the girls' areas
- Girls' laundry
- Preparing school bags and kits for the next day

Please note that during the month of September and school holidays, the family would like you to be available to do extra hours, along with the morning school run when needed. It is vital that you can be flexible and muck in as and when is necessary. Occasional night stays/babysitting will also be needed - this will be paid in addition to your contracted hours.

The family are looking for a loving, warm character to slot into their busy lifestyle.

It is a must that you possess the following:

- Enhanced DBS Check – if you do not have this the couple will pay for this to be done
- Non-Smoker
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Live close to the residence
- Comfortable working in a household with pets

Location: Canterbury – CT6

Children: Girls, aged 6 & 8 (additional 2 new-borns within the household)

Contract Length: Permanent

Start Date: August 2020 - TBC

Working Days: 4 days per week, Monday – Thursday

Working Hours: 2.00pm-3.00pm until 8.00pm (must be willing to be flexible)

Salary: £10+ an hour (this will be dependent on experience)
