A fantastic new role working as a Technical Services Coordinator within a manufacturing food and business company based in Kingston. The company has a mission to protect both the well-being of people and the planet whilst having customers in over 40 countries across the world. Offering hybrid working, parking on site, and a salary between £29,000 - £35,000, the company is looking for someone with great customer service and passionate about the industry.
Your new role
Within your new role, you will be responsible for handling customer queries over the telephone and email, whilst logging complaints into their database, and logging any updates. You will also coordinate product recalls/withdrawals whilst ensuring any supplier certifications are up-to-date. Your performance should be maintained in line with the companies' values and should ensure that, whilst handling day to day tasks, KPIs are met.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships whilst working effectively in a fast – paced environment. You should have at least 3 years of working in a customer service/ contact centre environment to be considered for this role and the ability to work both independently and a part of a team. It is desirable to have a food science / related degree or equivalent, knowledge of BRC, IFS standards and food manufacturing, or have worked within a FMCG company previously.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a permanent contract which pays up to £35,000 depending on your experience. You will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home between the start hours of 8:30am – 10am and finishing between 4:30pm-6pm. Parking on site is also available with a variety of other benefits, including free product samples, and discounted products.
