Deliver reliable, secure and future-ready applications for a connected university
We are recruiting two skilled and solutions-focused Digital Solutions Engineers (Applications) to support the delivery, configuration and optimisation of enterprise applications at Canterbury Christ Church University.
These roles play a key part in ensuring our digital applications are secure, integrated and aligned with the evolving needs of students, staff and the wider university community. From deployment and testing to troubleshooting and improvement, you’ll work across the full application lifecycle to keep our systems running smoothly and effectively.
You’ll collaborate with business users, IT teams, vendors and integration specialists to deliver fit-for-purpose application solutions that enhance university operations and user experiences. You’ll also help ensure compliance, maintain technical documentation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
We’re looking for someone who can:
Deploy, configure and optimise enterprise software applications to meet university needs
Support integration with university systems, platforms and external services
Assist in the full application lifecycle: testing, deployment, upgrades and ongoing maintenance
Collaborate with users, vendors, and technical teams to deliver effective application solutions
Apply best practices for application security and compliance with university policies
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues quickly and effectively
Maintain accurate documentation for application configurations and processes
Stay informed about emerging technologies and propose opportunities for improvement
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people and delivering digital tools that make a real difference across the university.
