Digital Solutions Engineer (Applications)
  £42,254 – £44,746 per annum
  Canterbury, Kent
  permanent,full-time

Deliver reliable, secure and future-ready applications for a connected university

We are seeking two Digital Solutions Designers to join our growing digital team. The role will focus on working within commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, primarily cloud-based, to shape and evolve how our business works with digital tools.

You will configure applications, build workflows, and collaborate closely with system super-users to ensure our solutions deliver real value. A key part of your role will be helping the business to make the best use of these systems, supporting sustainable and maintainable improvements rather than one-off fixes.

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with ITIL best practice and cyber security principles, an eye for detail, and the ability to translate business needs into effective digital solutions. Experience of working with enterprise applications or Software-as-a-Service applications, as well as a practical understanding of workflows, configuration, and best practice in system sustainability will be essential.

This is a chance to shape digital services that directly support our staff and students, contributing to the University’s ongoing digital transformation.

Flexible & Connected Working

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible.  Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year, but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders.

It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus, but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
