Background of department/role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Canterbury Christ Church University at a pivotal moment of growth and development, as we expand our provision across campuses in London and potentially other locations across the UK.
The Campus Communications Manager will play a leading role in shaping and delivering strategic communications for the London campus. Working closely with the Campus Dean and senior stakeholders, the postholder will drive a coordinated and proactive approach to communications that supports institutional priorities and enhances both the student and staff experience.
You will be an experienced communications professional with a strong track record of engaging diverse audiences across multiple channels. You will demonstrate excellent content creation skills, alongside the ability to plan and deliver effective, insight-led communications campaigns that achieve measurable results.
Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills are essential requirements for this role.
Desirable: Experience of working within higher education, or in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, would be advantageous.
How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible.
Campus attendance at both Canterbury and London will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
